Why Children Should Not Be Able To Vote

Why NZ Children Should Not Be Able To Vote

INTRO

Hello and welcome while you are here to read/listen today I will be trying to persuade you to believe alongside me on why Nz primary school kids should NOT be able to vote.
Imagine, kids, yes those lil 5 year olds as well, being able to vote, there would be people not up for the job in high roles everywhere!

BRIBERY

My first reason is about bribery, if you don’t know what bribery is I will explain. Bribery e.g. where someone is maybe they want you to do something so they start to tempt people by saying they would do something like save the planet somehow that's the good way, but the bad way is where they say “ok, little kid” in a deep scary or kind voice “Vote for me in the next election and I will give you hmmm, Ahh I know Lollies”
“Lollies really?” they say really excited like they have won an outrageous bargain
“Yes lollies” they say in a kind voice
So that would be bribery and one of my reasons why kids should not be able to vote.
But you might be wondering: why would that not be the same with adults? And that answer is because adults are more mature and children are not, Hmph.

BRAINS AND WISDOM

My Second reason for the day is about the kids brains, now don’t think I’m a zombie saying that, because I’m not, I mean it in a how-smart-they-are way. Those children are just not smart enough  to choose outstanding, heroic, important leaders for countries and cities: they have only been around for 5-14 years and so they have not been around long enough to know what these leaders are like they are going to have to wait.

Children Still Will Be Able To Vote
For my final reason of the day I will write about them being able to vote when they are older, yup, that's right they will still be able to vote when they grow up and up and up some more until they are adults then they can vote so they will be able to vote so it is fine but for the moment they are still little children not really needing to worry about any of that stuff  only when they are older that is when they deserve to be able to vote

Conclusion
Finally we have come to our devastating conclusion. In this piece of interesting writing you have learnt that primary school children (ages 5-14) should not be able to vote for important roles that could change our country.

Marvellous Maths

This presentation includes all the learning that I have done for this term (term 3). There is so much in it it would take so long to explain!
Hope you like it :)

Smart Media: Evaluating Media

For cyber smart the year 6's at Marshland School have been doing for our topic, media with Mr Bell. We had to fill out this slide and watch the videos, this did not require research because we have all ready done two (last week and last last week).
