The Life Of Being The Size Of A Ant

Seriously, as soon as I walked through the school I saw a man, the man had a big black rimmed hat, a black eye patch and red clothes. It flashed through my mind, a pirate. The pirate turned around and saw me, then he got a glass bottle out of his jacket. It had some brown liquid in it, he threw a drop at me it went through my mouth then I started to shrink and shrink and shrink until I was the size of an ant. I sprinted into the classroom (which was only really the speed of an old-fashioned granny)and ran to the Whāre Miere, the clock was on the wall where it normally was, it said 10 past 9. Wow it really took me that long to run  to the entrance to here. “Writing   time” Mr Sutherland said over the huge microphone. We all had boosts up to our trays, then  heaved the massive books out and stood on the table with our stuff waiting for the teachers. I opened up my device and stood on the keys for my password, it took awhile because you had to jump up for the keys to go down because we didn't weigh anything. after writing it was reading and the same thing happened. Then for morning tea, wow the playground looks ginormous then the pirate exhaustively sneaked in the class and took out a circular book. “Who carries circular books around people only carry square shape books” I heard someone say “That book doesn’t look ordinary” I said. At that moment Ngawai jumped up onto the pirate, but he didn’t even notice then, she got out his bottle that had the brown liquid in from his jacket, after that she threw it in the air, I caught it and put it into the pen pocket in my bag, I went back into the crowd of people by this time Ngwai started to make her way down to have a look at the book. As soon as she touched it with a tip of her fingernail she started to grow and grow and grow until she was normal size. “What just happened” he walked over to and saw her “go away” he said letting anger going all over his face, as he let out this demand Ngwai turned around and put her hand on the ground everybody climbed on shouting “ you're our hero!” everyone fitted nicely on her hand (she was able to fit so many people on because they were tiny) The pirate ended up dropping the book of shock so, they all stood on the book and became normal size.

After that day, I went down to a science lab with the little glass bottle with the brown liquid in and showed sciencetist. They said that they had seen a bottle of that same liquid a decade ago near the docks.

Chelingle 

Intro

The Chelingle’s head is part Flamingo the body is part Cheetah and the tail is part Lizard.Chelingle’s have only just been discovered. With the fast cheetah legs they hunt and with the long flamingo beak they eat.        

The female Chelingle lay the eggs in a stick nest and the male gather the food.The Chelingle is is also super rare!

Diet

The Chelingle is allergic to moose

The Chelingles favourite food is food Brine Shrimp and aquatic plants.        

Like the flamingoes when their tired or felt like they've had a great day they go down to the riverside to catch Brine Shrimp.

With the fast cheetah legs they hunt and with the long flamingo beak they eat.The Chelingle can eat as much as a cheater would eat a day.

The Chelingle is the normal size of a cheater with a flamingo head and a very long lizards tail.The color of the Chelingleskin and fur is goldish yellow with black dots representing the cheetah body.People love the feel of the scaly darkish blue straight pointy tail that is from a lizard.But then nobody can forget about the beautiful clean pink flamingo head that is a pinkish redish beautiful feathers. The Chelingle is a mix between a flamingo a cheater and a lizard.                  

Habitat/Location:The Chelingle is from a place called a rainforest where there is lots of water and food that it can eat and drink so that it stays alive. The weather is not to hot or cold it is just right from all the rain and sun it is just right for the body.Why it lives there:because it is in the right weather condition the right animals there to hunt all the right lakes for Shrimp to live in .

There is only a couple of herds so zoos need to breed more in the world right now so we need to take care of them

As I swam lower and lower I saw a big, blackish, bluish ,human-shaped thing, then I swam even more closer and realized what they were it was a million scaly, shiny bodies of fish...
They came closer and closer I started to panic, I swam as fast as a fish but they moved like a million fish, the human figure raised its arms and trapped me in.  Struggling I got my waterproof flip-phone out and phoned the scientist, I told them about what happened. “So there basically unstoppable. Where are you again’’ “under New Zealand at the bottom of the sea’’I said. I turned my phone off and turned around.  Ha how could I be so dumb I thought to myself there's a   massive hole right there, so I swam quickly and quietly out.but I regretted it straight away I can’t believe it I didn’t even think why there is a massive hole there,just as I had finished swimming out of the hole it closed up and the shark swishes its tail around the corner making more holes.  As more light came in the shark looked at me and I looked right back at it I started to swim toward the shark it started to back away and finally swam away.  I swam out and away from the shaken fish where am I, I wondered.
1 hour later
“How did you feel’’ said the interviewer “I was as scared as a bird’’ I said.



“And I’m gonna go again’’ “your what he splutter you were nearly killed I pulled on a shark costume and dived in I swam like a shark I swam until I saw it the big blackish bluish human-shaped thing.
I flipped my flippers faster and faster until the scaly shiny body of the fish came in view i swam closer they started to shudder I came closer they made a hole I went Inside “go to the surface’’ I shouted they started to move “I am never going to throw this costume out” I thought. 
They quickly swam while I just floated lazily. It felt like hours when more sunlight came in, I made another hole and started herding the fish, when a octopus came in, “what is it going to do’’ The octopus let out as much ink as it had it was as dark as night!




The ink slowly cleared away and most of my plan was failed the ink made the fish clear away.
I scared around trying to catch as many fish as possible. The human-shaped now would be hard to find “on the good side I think I found a new type of fish on the bad side no one will bele- wait” I opened my flip-phone back out and watched me phone the scientist and there it was me traped “wait why is it going on this far (replayed the hole story)  Where are you again’’ “under New Zealand at the bottom of the sea’’I said.I swam silently to the top of the sea and onto the shore  the shaken fish jumped horrifically inside my bag.The midday sun was shining as bright as yellow as I went to show my discovery!

About me!!!

Hi my name is Zoë I am a year 5 girl, I go to Marshland School and have four teachers (Mr Sutherland, Miss Burtenshaw,  Miss Roberts and Miss Raynel).  I have 3 sheep, 4 chickens, 10 fish, and 1 guinea pig. I am quarter Welsh, quarter Scottish and half English.

I like Reading, yummy chocolate, and Six60(the band).  I enjoy playing netball with my friend Matilda.   I like skiing with my family and I am also good at talking.

One of my reading goals is to be able to locate the main idea of the text using skimming and scanning. My Math goals is to learn my 8 and 12 times tables and to sort objects into 2d and 3d shapes.  My writing goal is I can use different words that link e.g.next afterwards later on.
I am a quarter Welsh, so I want to learn Welsh and I can say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch which means Saint Mary's Church in the hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of Saint Tysilio near the red cave. I have two brothers named Reuben and Josh. Reuben is 14 and goes to Papanui High. Josh is 12 and goes to Chisnallwood Intermediate My Mum was born in Scotland, my Dad, my brothers and I were born in Christchurch.
